The Bonus Arena Wins Community Built Award at the MSA Awards

← Back to news & insight

Congratulations again to the Sports & Leisure team at AFL Architects, who accepted another award for the Bonus Arena from the Manchester Society of Architects.

Hull’s new £40m flexible venue received the Community Built Award, a category that celebrates positive contributions to the public and cultural sector.

This year, the awards were judged by world-renowned Mancunian
architect, Sir Norman Foster, alongside a diverse panel of experts.

The MSA Awards have been running since 1995: celebrating the work of their membership and championing the character of Manchester’s
architectural spirit.

"It was an honour for the team to be recognised for their design achievements by Sir Norman Foster and fantastic to stand alongside the best Manchester has to offer at the MSA Awards. We’re also so proud of the contribution the Bonus Arena continues to make towards Hull’s regeneration."
