AFL Attains Highest AJ100 Position in Practice History

← Back to news & insight

AFL Architects is proud to place at number 85 in the AJ100, following an exceptional year where the practice has conceived and delivered prestigious projects both nationally and internationally.

The AJ100 is a ranking of the largest architectural practices in the UK, measured by the number of qualified architects employed.

This is AFL’s highest ranking in its history and is directly attributable to the delivery of Lusail Stadium, the largest commission ever attained by the team. Ongoing projects for the Rutherford Programme of Works, Swansea Arena Masterplan and multiple training grounds across China have also ensured AFL’s success.

"We couldn’t be more pleased of our position on the AJ100 list. We are proud of every project we delivered over the past year, and we are delighted that our team has been recognised for the hard work they contributed in 2018."
Phil Osborne, Director

This place on the AJ100 list follows a number of awards recognising AFL’s business and design achievements over the previous 12 months.

This includes an RICS award, two LABC awards and a Manchester Society of Architects Award for the Bonus Arena.
