Planning Granted for The Christie at Macclesfield

← Back to news & insight

The new cancer care facility for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust has been granted planning permission by Cheshire East Council.

This marks a significant milestone for the facility, which has been developed to offer an additional centre for radiotherapy at the Macclesfield District Hospital site, as well as a relocation and expansion of existing chemotherapy and support services.

The fully-integrated cancer treatment centre has a design that mirrors the larger Christie Oak Road facility in Manchester.

More information about the project can be found here.
